Meet the maker

From a winter hobby to work with a purpose.

Cliff’s Custom Creations began in October 2024. As the dark, rainy Oregon winter approached, Cliff wanted a productive way to keep his hands and mind busy. He bought a small first laser and started learning. That machine eventually broke—but by then, Cliff had discovered how much he loved creating meaningful pieces and seeing the joy they brought people.

With more than seven years sober, Cliff knows that a cup, plaque, or keepsake can be more than an object. The graduation cups he creates for men completing programs at Portland Rescue Mission give them something tangible to carry forward—a reminder of what they overcame and how far God has brought them.

“I want every customer to experience solid craftsmanship, lasting quality, genuine joy, and—most importantly—the love of Jesus Christ through what I create and how I treat them.”

— Cliff Isbell, maker & owner
